Network Operations - Tier 2 - Operational Support - Load Balancing
In this role, you will provide support and training to teams while solving critical incidents.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 Escalation point for Operational support of Network Perimeter Security technologies (Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Trend Micro)
- Firewall, networks address translation, routing intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Network reviews to identify vulnerabilities, opportunities for improvement in observability
- Participate in documentation and validations to communicate technical status updates to stakeholders
- Work on ad-hoc reports with senior team members.
- Adhere to global design authority processes and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Network technologies (Firewall, WAN/MAN, LAN TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VRRP, BGP, Multicast, IPv4, IPv6, VPN)
- Experience with configuration, automated tools and processes
- Troubleshooting networking problems
- Experience with other network technologies (WAN, MAN, LAN, Optical, Routing, Switching, Proxy/Threat Prevention, DDI, Load Balancing, and AAA)
- Experience working globally and varied hours.
- Escalation and guiding the team
