What will you be doing? Well, your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a steady throughput on machines to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Providing temporary cover for colleagues when they need to step away from their machines.
- Loading strip as required, ensuring smooth operations.
- ?? Presses using the correct lubricant for optimal performance.
- Sorting, cleaning, and packing components according to production and customer specifications.
- Preparing packing materials to safeguard product integrity.
- Carrying out line clearance procedures to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Conducting basic maintenance procedures, such as machine clean downs.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to troubleshoot machine problems.
- Recording press readings on statistical process charts to assess and adjust the process if necessary.
- Completing compliance and cGMP documentation accurately and thoroughly.
- Supporting and mentoring trainees and colleagues in all departments. ??
- Rotational shift pattern 6AM to 2PM and 2PM to 10PM - Monday to Friday
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safe working practises.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude. ???????
