P4 Recruitment is recruiting for a Team Leader / Senior Social Worker role in a residential home for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of support workers to provide high-quality care.
Work closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager to create a stable, caring environment.
Support children in developing social and life skills and foster positive relationships.
Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
Assist with care planning, key working responsibilities, and managing children's finances.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
Qualification: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare, with a willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Residential Childcare)
Essential Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a residential setting and 1 year in a senior role.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Children's Home Regulations, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures.
Ability to work early, late, weekends, and perform sleep-in duties.
