Description
- Managing the preparation and delivery of management accounts
- Guiding the decision-making process through financial analysis and insights particularly during the forecasting process
- Streamlining accounting procedures and operations through process improvement and automation
- Developing effective financial strategies in line with company objectives.
- Mentoring and supervising junior team members - one direct report currently
- Maintaining positive relations with stakeholders
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA or CIMA
- Ideally experience in a service based industry (but not essential)
- Experience in producing full set of management accounts and understanding of forecasting
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
