We are seeking a Senior Shift Analyst to join our dynamic Quality Control team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential analytical support on a shift basis, ensuring compliance with business and HSEQ standards. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine and non-routine analyses, identifying analytical trends, and providing crucial support during emergency management situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine analysis of final, process control, and experimental samples using a variety of analytical techniques.
- Highlight trends in analytical data and collaborate with Shift Leader and Production Chemists to maintain manufacturing and compliance targets.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytical issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
- Provide first-line support to satellite laboratories and assist with at-line analysis as needed.
- Contribute to operational safety and emergency response activities under the guidance of the Duty Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related science field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency in operating analytical equipment such as HPLC, GC, and titration.
- Experience in laboratory practices, including COSHH and ISO 9001 QMS.
- Strong numeracy skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
