We are pleased to be supporting an established manufacturing business with a foothold in the NE in their search for an experienced Supplcy Chain manager to fill a newly created role within their team
The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director this role will play a key role within the site management team and have responsibility for supply chain, from forecasting and planning, through S&OP and inventory management and also encompassing warehousing.
The key focus areas will be:
- Around embedding the S&OP process, taking part in the monthly meetings
- Assess and review existing supply chain processes with a continuous improvement mindset
- Optimisation of inventory levels, review of stockholding and efficiency of process
The Person
This role represents an exciting challenge for a supply chain professional with experience working within a fast moving manufacturing environment.
The skills and attributes we are searching for include:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain management role
- Systems oriented, comfortable using data to drive decision making
- Ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, onsite and remote
- Experience working within a global supply chain with knowledge of import/ export regulations an advantage
