Position: Architect | Location: Stockport | £32k - £40k doe
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Architect to join a medium sized RIBA Chartered practice based in Stockport.
Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are on the lookout for an Architect to join with knowledge in the education sector, ideally having worked on projects within this sector before, however, anyone with a passion to work on these types of projects is also of interest.
This RIBA Practice has under 20 members of staff, with varying in experience and expertise. As a practice they have a focusing on ensuring work-life balance, offering early finishes on Fridays (1pm) and a flexible working arrangement during the week. They have plans to continue expanding for the foreseeable future, creating opportunities for you to progress and lead your own team!
The Role and Requirements: Architect
- Produce information for and sometimes run site meetings at different stages
- Previous experience using Revit or working in the Education sector - including Priority School design process and DfE Output Specification.
- Strong design and detailing skills for a variety of projects - small extensions/refurbishments to large scale new build developments.
- Run your own projects and work in a team on larger projects
- Help mentor junior staff
- Experience working on all RIBA Stages.
- Confident communicating with all stakeholders, including contractors and clients.
- Live within a commutable distance of Stockport
