This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Construction company who work on a variety of exciting Civils and Groundworks packages in a mixture of sectors, where you'll be supported with regular training opportunities and have clear progression to Contracts Director.

This well-established construction company specialise in Civil and Groundworks projects in and around the Southwest. With their projects being a mixture of sectors from Public Sector to Commercial projects. They work with a diverse range of clientele from Tier 1s to one-off clients. Their ability to cater to a diverse range of clientele and offer a quality service has found them success and as of a result they have a full workbook moving forward. That is why they are looking to add to their dynamic and long-standing team with this exciting opportunity.
In this role you will have a number of responsibilities, including assisting in the procurement and estimating of materials for the projects and managing any sub-contractor admin or payments. You will also be responsible for creating application as well as final accounts. Another responsibility will be visiting sites to ensure projects are running smoothly and to get an understanding of any variations. Finally, amongst other responsibilities, you will be responsible for creating financial reports for the projects to ensure effective communication to both internal and external teams.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a Quantity Surveyor from a Civils background with previous experience estimating projects, as well as holding a full UK drivers license to be able to travel to sites across the Southwest.
