Marketing Executive - Video

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to join our team focussing on the Video Content aspects of the department with the focus on filming, editing and producing high-quality video content to support our marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. Reporting into the Marketing Manager alongside a team with specific individual marketing responsibilities, you will be an integral part of the department. The role would suit candidates who can demonstrate strong Video and Content Marketing skills through both work experience and education. The role would suit candidates with a relevant Degree in Marketing, Film Production, Communications or a related field who have gained work experience that demonstrates your talent for the Video aspects of Marketing.

We are a leading manufacturing and technical organisation and can offer job stability and the opportunity to work as part of a busy and professional team of 30 at our modern offices. The Marketing Assistant role will be working Mon to Fri with an early finish on a Friday. We offer contributory pension, death in service, life insurance, free parking and 23 days holiday plus bank holiday with a salary dependant on experience and a salary review after 6 months plus discretionary annual bonus. We can also offer hybrid working after successful completion of your probationary period.

As Marketing Executive (Video Content) you will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content to support our marketing campaigns and brand initiatives. You will work as part of a team to conceptualise and execute video projects that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various digital platforms.

Video Production

Plan, film, and edit video content for both long and short form to be used across a variety of platforms including social media, websites, and email campaigns. Ensure all video content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and marketing strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards. Confident speaking on camera and being able to present when required.

Pre-Production

Assist in the development of video briefs and scripts. Scout locations and arrange for necessary production equipment. Coordinate with presenters, influencers, and other participants for video shoots.

Post-Production

Edit raw footage into polished videos, adding effects, graphics, music, and other elements as needed. Manage video assets and ensure proper storage and organization of footage. Perform colour correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks to enhance video quality.

Content Strategy

Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate video content into broader marketing strategies. Stay updated on video marketing trends and suggest innovative ideas to improve content effectiveness. Analyse video performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future content. Support with design of digital and print media.

Technical Expertise

Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and sound equipment.

Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots and in post-production.

Administrative Support

Assist with the scheduling and coordination of video shoots. Maintain an organized calendar of video production timelines and deadlines. Support other marketing activities and events as needed for example website and email adaption/creation.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving results, driving growth, and enhancing brand visibility. You will have a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience and learn about a widevariety of areas of marketing, working closely with the marketing, product and sales teams. To be suitable you should ideally have the following:-

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film Production, Communications, or a related field.

Demonstratable work experience in video production and editing.

Experience in a commercial marketing environment is preferred.

Experience with social media platforms and their specific video requirements. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cust Pro, or similar. Knowledge of motion graphic software (e.g. After Effects) is a plus. Strong creative vision with an eye for detail and storytelling.

Excellent verbal and writing communication skills. Ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.

Strong time management and organisational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to feedback. Photography skills are a plus.

To be successful you should have a relevant Degree or equivalent qualification and be able to demonstrate the required video and content experience through both your studies and some work experience.
