Audio Visual Engineer - £35-40k - Reading (On-site)
We are currently looking for an experienced AV Engineer to come and join an incredible SMART tech company based in Reading. They are currently expanding their networks and increasing both their UK and global reach.
They are a business that enables AV technology to help companies function efficiently within their environments and help with SMART-tech solutions across multi-site businesses. They are known for their bespoke servies and they have worked with some of the worlds biggest brands.
This role has been created as they are expanding across all divisions bringing new team members into the company. The role is an on-site position and will require travel to multiple client sites installing and maintaining their key systems such as projection, SMART tech visual display systems, interactive tech and all their SMART tech
Key responsibilities!
- Project lead and commissioning of corporate AV solutions
- AV on-site installation experience of installing a range of equipment in a range of environments including projection, display screens, interactive technologies, audio solutions, switching, video scalers, signal extenders and digital signage
- Rack Building and wiring
- PC skills and programming of touch panels
- Knowledge of product firmware updates
- Engineering health and safety training and knowledge
- Management of the engineers internal and external
- Diary Management

What you'll need!
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities continuously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
