We have guaranteed supply teaching work available for flexible and dedicated primary school teachers from September 2024. As a Hays Education Guarantee teacher, we will ensure you supply work in various schools across Bristol on the pre-arranged days you are available, covering classes from EYFS to Year 6 according to your experience. Work may also include PPA cover, intervention and booster-based work. Work available will mainly include daily and short-term cover assignments, as well as longer-term positions should you be interested. We can guarantee work on a full or part-time basis, depending on your availability.During your working day you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils and the school's expectations, and may be required to plan and assess work depending on the role.You will also be expected to follow the school's policies and safeguarding procedures, and maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.What you'll need to succeedTo be eligible for a guarantee for primary supply teaching work you must have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
- A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2 years
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- A strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Reliability, dedication and professionalism at all times
