About the Role:
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be an integral part of a dedicated team, responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance of cutting-edge equipment. The role involves working on food process machinery, fault-finding on various PLCs, and providing comprehensive engineering support to the site production team.
Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot various PLCs.
- Address breakdowns and perform planned and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all food processing and packaging machinery.
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide array of systems such as pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, ovens, mixers, pressure systems, and refrigeration units.
Maintenance Engineer Experience:
- A multi-skilled engineer with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering and a strong mechanical background.
- Highly motivated and quick to respond to breakdowns.
- Experience working within a PPM schedule and a continuous improvement environment.
Maintenance Engineer Qualifications:
- BTECH/ONC in Electrical discipline or a Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
- C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
- Time-served apprentice.
- HNC level in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
