Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a construction business in the Warrington area who are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for man management, hands on payroll and future planning for the team.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Man management including one to ones
- Hands on end to end payroll
- Trouble shooting for current issues & areas of development
- Looking at function of the team, team set up and requirements
- Providing reports and advice
- Producing reports for senior management
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Payroll experience as a Payroll Manager
- Shared service knowledge
- Full and comprehensive understanding of payroll function
- Experience of collaborating with different departments and stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Experience of Automation, continuous improvement, process implementation
