Accounts Payable Assistant
12 month contract / 28 hours per week, flexible & hybrid working hours.

A leading financial services group who have an excellent reputation as an employer in the local area are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant into the Finance department. This role sits within a small team within the larger finance department. You'll be responsible for a supporting the business with a range of payment, expenses and accounts assistant duties. Specifics of the role include -
- Managing the expenses system including supporting various business areas providing advice and support.
- Assist with expenses enquiries from employees within the business.
- Make BACS and online payments for different parts of the company.
- Process and record all payments.
- Produce remittance documentation.
- Assist with general accounts enquiries and projects within the department.
- Support other members of the team, help check and verify work.
The role would suit a part time worker (28 hours) who wants to work in a professional people first organisation. The hours can be split over 4/5 days with hybrid home working options, however there will be a requirement to attend the office 2/3 days per week.
