Job Description: Technical Trainer
Location: Haddenham
Salary: Negotiable

About the Role:

Our client is looking for someone to join the team, to develop and deliver their technical training programme, throughout Great Britain, to support the product range, dealer network and customers. The position will be based on 1-2 days per week at the offices in Haddenham, with the rest of the time spent delivering technical training to both dealers and customers throughout the UK. Occasional working from home arrangements will be possible as dictated by workload.

The position will include a company vehicle (van based).

Key requirements for this role:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle technology, preferably trucks
  • Hands-on experience of repair and maintenance techniques for modern vehicles or a relevant qualification
  • Excellent and adaptable communication skills
  • Experience in the design and delivery of technical training
  • Ability to plan and organise in order to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexible approach and excellent team working skills
  • Current driving license as frequent travel within the UK is required
  • Passport required for occasional travel to Europe

In addition, the successful applicant will need plenty of drive and enthusiasm to motivate course delegates, as well as an understanding of the importance of customer/dealer personnel to the overall success of our business. An interest in the continuing improvement of training programmes and the assessment of course effectiveness and delegate performance is also essential.
