Job Title: Network Engineer
Salary: up to £48,000
Location: Flintshire
As a Network Engineer, you will be working as part of a small team to ensure the highest level of network services. Your will be responsible for implementing technical solutions, coordinating with third-party support, and adhering to ITIL-based frameworks for request, problem, and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Looking after switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN equipment.
- Monitoring network requirements.
- Configuring new network solutions.
- Troubleshooting for network system weaknesses.
- Identifying and implementing new technologies to improve network security.
- Resolving security threats and issues.
Required Skills:
- CCNA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with network switch configuration.
- Experience with routing protocols.
- Experience with firewall rules.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Beneficial skills
- Experience with Avaya/Extreme switching.
- Experience with Meraki full stack (MX/MS/MR).
- AWS networking experience.
- Background working for in a multi-site environment is advantageous.
