Are you an outgoing, confident Head of Commercial/ Sales with experience of planning and implementing strategies to promote growth for new and existing customers alike?

Are you of graduate calibre, BSc/BA/ MSc/ MA in business administration, finance?

Do you have a track record of working with a senior leadership team and working in a senior role into C suite leaders in a B2B environment?

Can you champion the service provision of our client's business, to influence the strategy for commercial opportunities linked to growth and development opportunities largely with an existing customer base (hospitality)?

Thanks to an army of almost 90,000 units across the UK they are a business that is thriving and are going through a period of restructure and change to compliment the business needs and requirements.

What does the role involve?

  • The Head of Commercial is responsible for planning, developing and implementing commercial strategies to support business development and our clients near-term and future growth.
  • You will deliver growth and margin improvement in our clients existing customer base and lead their expansion into adjacent markets to support their overall strategy.
  • You will lead a team focused on delivering excellent customer service whilst leveraging both organic and inorganic commercial growth opportunities.
  • You will be able to identify, explore and progress opportunities linked to growth and development to maximise opportunities.
  • You will be able to develop, plan and implement high value project work opportunities to support growth and revenue.
  • You will be responsible for setting financial targets and budget development, forecasting, and monitoring progress against pipeline, working collaboratively with the finance business partner.
  • A need to understand market conditions, industry trends and business operations will be pivotal to develop and drive the commercial strategy.
  • Stakeholder management will also be of the upmost importance in this role to drive continuous improvement using NPS surveys, service review outputs and other data to achieve optimum service levels.
  • You will have experience leading a team of commercial account managers to enable growth and ensure optimum service levels are achieved to deliver strategic performance.
  • You will be experience in selling services ideally not products and you will understand link selling into adjacent markets.
  • Be flexible and agile with your leadership style and able to demonstrate your ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is a must!
  • You will be career minded with aspirations for developing into a more senior role ideally with our client.
  • An existing Head of Commercial or Head of Sales that has experience in all the above would be well received ideally in a service focused sector.
