Location: Portsmouth 2-form Primary School
Position: Full-time, 5 days a week (Monday - Friday)
Qualifications: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification or QTS qualification
Experience:
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Proven experience leading lessons and managing classrooms independently
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND, ensuring their academic and emotional needs are met
- Lead lessons and manage classrooms effectively in the absence of the teacher
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- HLTA Qualification or QTS qualification
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- Ability to independently lead lessons and manage classrooms
- Availability to work Monday to Friday
