Reed Accountancy & Finance are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Manager for a temporary position with our client in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable function and ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of the team's operations.

Accounts Manager Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable department.
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.
  • Manage and support the team in achieving their daily goals.

Accounts Manager Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Manager.
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to direct and supervise.
