Are you a very Ambitious German Speaking Part Qualified Management Accountant? I am looking for an individual that wants to join a fast paced, well established privately owned business in Greater Manchester.
Reporting to the Financial controller, the role will be responsible for:
- Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
- Sales and margin analysis.
- Variance analysis and reporting against budgets, forecasts and prior periods.
- Control of AR and AP ledgers and support functions, overseeing weekly payment requests.
- Assist with the budget and forecast process.
- Manage the annual audit process, and ensure it runs smoothly and to time.
- Implement, standardise and improve financial reporting and controls.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices with at least 2 years gained in a similar role in a fast paced environment and ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in German
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Disciplined to meet deadlines while maintaining controls.
- Passionate and can-do collaborative attitude.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
In return the business can offer a salary of £35,,000 to £40,000 work from home one day a week, 25 days holiday, study support after completion of probation, and entry into company health and wellness scheme.
