Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Salary / Benefits: 24,000 - 38,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in the South East. You will be joining a successful and established water treatment company, who delivery technical risk assessments to a longstanding client base. The client can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work across a portfolio of domestic and process water systems and is happy to receive applications from switched-on risk assessors, who do not have any previous experience on process risk assessing but who has a keenness to learn.
Consideration will be given to applicants with good access to London including; Luton, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Leighton Buzzard, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Watford, North London, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Slough and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Industry recognised Legionella Risk Assessor qualification e.g. City and Guilds / WMSoc.
- Onsite experience working as a risk assessor for an established water treatment / legionella company.
- Able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of domestic water systems.
- Experience working on process water systems, desirable not essential as training can be provided.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as part of the role.
Roles and responsibilities;
- Conducting Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold domestic water systems.
- Carrying out risk assessments of cooling towers and process water systems.
- Compiling and creating schematic drawings with details, as well as producing final documents/reports for the clients.
- Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
- Getting involved with the company's Legionella management systems.
- Building and maintaining a good working rapport with clients/customers and staff.
- Dealing with problems as and when required appropriately and effectively.
- Prioritising workload and ensuring work is completed within timescale.
- Travelling to sites as per client's requirements.
