Our client is a successful business who have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Poole and require travel to their offices but offer a hybrid model of working.
Description
As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Manage your own portfolio of allocated debtor accounts by:
- Ensure payments are received within the agreed payment terms
- Chasing mixed value aged and current debt mainly by telephone, or/and by email
- Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalating problematic accounts to the Senior Credit Controller
- Raise and send monthly statements at the beginning of each month
- Reconciliation of accounts and projects
- Ad hoc: Manually raising proforma invoices, invoices, and credit notes in a timely manner. Including uploading to relevant customer portals
- Answering incoming telephone calls & taking card payments
- General administration including creation and management of customer accounts
Profile
To be successful for the Credit Controller position, you must:
- 1-2 years experience as Credit Controller
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence to deal with customers via telephone and email
- Strong Microsoft Office software particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines
- Self-motivated, confident, and persistent
Job Offer
Salary £22,000 - £28,000
