Page Personnel are partnering with a successful business who are looking to hire a Credit Controller in their accountancy team on a full time permanent basis.

Client Details

Our client is a successful business who have seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Poole and require travel to their offices but offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage your own portfolio of allocated debtor accounts by:
  • Ensure payments are received within the agreed payment terms
  • Chasing mixed value aged and current debt mainly by telephone, or/and by email
  • Resolving all associated credit control queries and escalating problematic accounts to the Senior Credit Controller
  • Raise and send monthly statements at the beginning of each month
  • Reconciliation of accounts and projects
  • Ad hoc: Manually raising proforma invoices, invoices, and credit notes in a timely manner. Including uploading to relevant customer portals
  • Answering incoming telephone calls & taking card payments
  • General administration including creation and management of customer accounts

Profile

To be successful for the Credit Controller position, you must:

  • 1-2 years experience as Credit Controller
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Confidence to deal with customers via telephone and email
  • Strong Microsoft Office software particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, confident, and persistent

Job Offer

Salary £22,000 - £28,000
