Our client, a renowned property management organisation, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join their team. As the Property Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing applicants and tenants, ensuring the smooth operation of properties under their management.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing applicants and tenants: Handle enquiries, screen applicants, and resolve any issues raised by tenants promptly and professionally.
  • Contract renewals and ending tenancies: Arrange check-ins and check-outs, administer end-of-tenancy deposit refunds.
  • Carrying out inspections: Visit properties to ensure they are properly maintained by tenants.
  • Maintenance and repairs: Liaise with contractors as necessary to address any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Admin and communication: Interact with tenants and internal departments effectively, keeping the General Manager updated on any issues.

Skills:

  • Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and show politeness and courtesy when interacting with tenants, prospective tenants, visitors, and contractors.
  • Detailed and organised: Exhibit a high attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach to processing tasks.
  • Flexibility: Be willing to work outside of traditional office hours, including weekends and occasional evenings, as property management requires.
  • Problem-solving: Demonstrate the ability to handle unexpected issues and minimise any negative impact on the properties.
  • Good initiative: Have the capability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently without constant supervision.
  • Professional manner: Maintain professionalism in attitude, dress, and communication style.
  • IT and software skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of other relevant software applications.
  • Approach to work: Be adaptable to work both in a team environment and independently under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines.

Nice to have:

- Property knowledge: Prior experience in property management is advantageous, but not essential, as training will be provided to suitable candidates.
