Following the retirement of this company's Quality Manager, their Quality Engineer has been promoted to Manager, and they're now looking to hire a new Quality Engineer to join the team.
This job will suit you if your background is in precision engineering quality where metal components are machined using CNC mills, CNC lathes and other, similar machine tools.

With the support of the Quality Manager, your duties as the company's new Quality Engineer will include:
- Carrying out duties relating to the upkeep of the Quality Management System
- Writing new procedures and updating current operating procedures as and when needed
- Carrying out internal quality audits according to industry standards (training courses can be provided where needed)
- Working with machinists wherever issues are raised to find a resolution
- Raising Non-Conformances, completing reports and closing out with customers
- Carrying out root cause analysis as part of a team
- Completing First Article Inspection Reports
- Booking in of materials to include Goods In Quality Inspection
- Plus any associated duties as required.

Working hours:
39 hour working week, day shift with a lunchtime finish on Fridays.
Pay rate:
