Description
Our client producers of quality engineered thermoplastic products and materials ar seeking an experienced CNC Miller.
CNC Miller Responsibilities:
- Programme and set up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Select appropriate tools and fixtures for each job
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
CNC Miller Requirements/Skills:
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines is essential.
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC Lathes is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience working with XYZ Prototrak Machine controls would be beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of tooling and machining techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
The ideal CNC Miller candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
Salary: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 40hours per week
