Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the SEN department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.
- Provide guidance and professional development to staff on SEN best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and interventions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive school culture where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEN education.
- Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and patient approach to working with students with diverse needs.
- DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
