Fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leeds City Centre.
This well-established firm offer a range of services to assist their clients with many aspects of their accounting needs. You will have the opportunity to work for a wide range of clients giving you well-rounded exposure to many aspects of accounting.
As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Perform bookkeeping duties when required.
To be a successful applicant for this Trainee Accountant position, you should:
- Be currently studying towards AAT level 3 or 4, or towards ACA.
- Have 2+ years' experience as a Trainee Accountant in an Accountancy firm.
- Be eager to learn and progress with the firm, both professionally and through your studies.
