We are currently working with super-prime residential owner, developer, and operator renowned for producing exceptional and exquisite residential properties in the UK and abroad. We have been appointed as their exclusive recruitment partner to find a Head of Commercial Finance to join their leadership team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will play a key role in strategic planning and decision making for the business. Alongside the cash-flow management of the company, you will work as a key business partner for all the heads of department, including the Head of Financial Operations. This will involve travel to the project sites to get a true understanding for any challenges or opportunities that exist.
They key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creation of the 5-year Business Financial Plan for the CEO.
- Analysis of the Strategic Cash Flow for each project and collective business.
- Key point of contact for the viability of all development appraisals.
- Closely monitor each project spend and all company expenditure, identifying any opportunities.
- Regular forecasting on cost and revenue = for 12 Month, 3 Year, 5 Year P&L.
- Liaise closely with Business Heads on costs, revenue and budget monitoring.
- Monthly and Quarterly management level reporting on business performance.
- For all legal entities setting out financial table for each.
- Support review of monthly valuations for existing portfolio.
- Oversight of procurement, quantity surveyors and project cost management.
This is an exceptional opportunity for somebody with a strong Commercial Finance / FP&A background to be directly involved in strategic decision making that will help the growth and development of the business. The CEO regards this individual for this role as a key stakeholder in the business who will be working with all heads of department.
They are seeking somebody with the following experience and exposure:
- Strong finance background, ACA qualified or equivalent
- Commercial awareness with experience
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial modelling exposure
- Understanding of the dynamics of an entrepreneurial business
- Track record of driving strategic decisions in previous positions
