Children's Residential Registered Manager

Location: Penwortham
Salary: £50,000

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Residential Registered Manager for a solo placement home based in Penwortham. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a specialised service and make a significant impact on the life of a young person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the solo placement home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
  • Ensure high standards of care that meet the emotional, social, and educational needs of the child.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, focusing on the well-being and development of the child.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Liaise with external agencies, families, and stakeholders to ensure holistic support for the child.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the needs of children in care and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or social work (Level 5 or equivalent).
