Role Title: Programme Planner
Duration: 6 Month Initial Contract
Location: Hybrid / Onsite 1 day per week in Warwick
Day Rate: Circa* £540 via Umbrella (salary option also available)
We are happy to be recruiting for one of our high-profile utilities clients! They are currently looking for a Programme Planner to join their team in focusing on the development and active management of their current projects implementation plan!
Key Accountabilities:
- Leadership, setting the direction and standards for Programme planning.
- Ensure that the developed plan will achieve the programme outcomes to the target date (initially Day 1 of the FSO)
- Build and maintain relationships with FSO programme leadership, ensuring requirements are met.
- Work with the PMOs and workstream leads to ensure the plan is accurate and is being proactively managed
- Take accountability for reporting of plan progress through programme governance
- Work collaboratively with FSO PMOs to ensure consistency of working and understanding of current state
- Ensure dependencies and clearly understood and managed across the workstreams with standards and assumptions clear
- Support in planning risk identification and mitigation for the programme
- Ensure that the plan for the FSO implementation aligns with the client and the ESO programme team
Knowledge, Experience & Technical Know How:
- Leadership of a planning capability in either an IT portfolio or IT programme capacity
- Knowledge / awareness of the range of roles performed by the PMO within a complex programme
- Leadership of multiple teams
- Experience of matrix management of resources
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements and set clear expectations
- Experience of leading a high performing PMO team using best practice tools and methods.
- Experience in IT Systems
Working hours:
Standard Monday - Friday working hours with some flex where required.
