Finance/Accounts Administrator Hybrid

RG Consultancy are working with a fantastic public service business who are recruiting for an accounts administrator to join their finance department. This is a new role created to help support the finance team on a day to day basis. You will work within a small team and report to the finance recruiter.

The Role

  • To provide support and manage the administrative duties required for smooth running of the finance department
  • Export and prepare data ready for import onto QuickBooks
  • Enter and reconcile petty cash
  • Weekly payment run to suppliers
  • Adding invoices onto QuickBooks
  • Managing and reconciling bank accounts
  • Support with weekly audits to provide information to the management team
  • Provide additional support to the Accounts and Payroll Assistant where necessary

The Person

  • Previous experience within an accounts environment or an administrative role is essential
  • An AAT qualification or a desire to study would be an advantage to the role
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel and Quickbooks would be an advantage
