Quality Technologist
OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Quality Technologistfor one of our clients based in Welwyn Garden City.
Our client is looking for an individual to work with the Technical department to ensure the quality and safety of goods enter and leave the business, to seek continuous improvements in quality standards and maintain high levels of customer service
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
- Weekly Pay: £15.39 an hour
- Immediate start
- Free on-site parking
- Temporary contract for 8 - 12 weeks, could go permanent for the right candidate
- Opportunity to earn quarterly bonus
**Quality Technologist - Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Auditing and Supplier Auditing
- Supplier information and product specifications kept up to date
- Produce reports regarding product and supplier issues
- Non-conformances arising in the business are documented and communicated to the relevant parties
- Provide technical information to customers.
- Support the NPD team to achieve fully commercialised products that meet all food safety and quality standards.
- Ensure customer/consumer complaints are handled in a timely manner as per company policy
**Quality Technologist - Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working within the Food / FMCG industry, is essential
- Previous experience within a quality tech or similar position
- Solid knowledge of current food legislation.
- Solid knowledge of technical specifications from suppliers
- Strong technical knowledge of allergies and allergens
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
