Payroll Assistant
Sandwich
Salary - £25,000 per annum
Benefits - 30 days holiday per year, Company days out, Free onsite parking
Temporary MAT cover starting in September
We have an exciting opportunity in Sandwich for a Payroll Assistant to work for one of our well-established clients. This role is a full-time position working Monday- Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Responsibilities
- Working to support the payroll team to input timesheets for the operatives
- Processing timesheets for circa 600 operatives, ensuring payroll meets deadlines
- Chase any missing timesheets, annual leave forms, and sickness forms
- Work closely with colleagues and managers to ensure queries with timesheets are resolved
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Using accounting SAGE software
- Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
- You must have experience in a similar position, although applications from those who have just started within payroll will be considered
- You must have experience in using SAGE
- Confident and proficient in using Microsoft
- Must be a strong communicator.
- Accuracy and a good eye for detail
