HYBRID ROLE - We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Part Qualified Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading organisation that offers hybrid working, wellbeing support, pension contribution matching, and health insurance.
As a Part Qualified Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team in delivering accurate and timely financial information. You will be responsible for assisting with month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Conducting variance analysis and providing insightful explanations for any deviations
- Assisting in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise financial performance
- Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available
- Assisting with the implementation of process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analysis
Skills and Qualifications:
- Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
In return for your hard work and dedication, the client offers a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
