Job

The role of Finance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:

  • Leading a team of 5
  • Assist with the month-end close and management accounts preparation
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled
  • Assist with weekly cash flow forecasting and management
  • Post payroll entries and maintaining accuracy
  • Ensure stock valuations are correct in SAP
  • Assist with the year-end close and working papers
  • Preparation of monthly forecasts, quarterly, and annual budgets
  • Handle ad hoc requests from finance stakeholders
  • Complete monthly VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Contribute to Capex project management
  • Implement, manage, and monitor key company KPIs
  • Improve commercial control of projects by liaising with Engineers
  • Support the development of admin staff capabilities

You

As a Finance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:

  • Skilled in preparing management accounts & carrying out most of the duties listed above
  • Qualifications are not essential for this position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • ERP system experience
  • Strong Excel, analytical and reporting skills
  • High level of integrity and discretion in financial matters
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks
  • Good team player, flexible to a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines and deliver on objectives
  • Professional, confident, and organised with a can-do attitude
