Job Title: Sound Technician / Sound Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sound Technician/Sound Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality audio for live performances, presentations, and other event activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate sound equipment for live events, including microphones, speakers, and mixing consoles.
- Conduct sound checks and adjust settings for optimal audio quality.
- Monitor audio levels and troubleshoot any sound issues during the event.
- Coordinate with performers, presenters, and other event staff to meet audio requirements.
- Maintain and transport sound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and event protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sound Technician/Sound Engineer, preferably in live event settings.
- Proficient in using various audio equipment and sound engineering software.
- Strong understanding of audio signal flow and acoustics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of wireless microphone systems and frequency coordination.
- Experience with digital mixing consoles.
- Familiarity with audio recording techniques.
Working Conditions:
- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on the event schedule.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
