We are thrilled to be working with our client, a thriving professional services firm, who is currently seeking a temporary Receptionist to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is cheerful, professional, and enjoys being at the forefront of a busy office environment.

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and clients. Your friendly and approachable nature will ensure that everyone feels welcome and well taken care of. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members, and providing general administrative support. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be instrumental in delivering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls and directing inquiries to the relevant individuals
  • Managing the reception area and maintaining a clean and presentable workspace
  • Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
  • Assisting with scheduling appointments and coordinating meeting rooms
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Managing office supplies and placing orders when necessary

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working in a customer-facing or administrative position. You will have a warm and engaging personality, with exceptional interpersonal skills. Your strong attention to detail and organisational abilities will enable you to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with people from various backgrounds
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional and courteous demeanour
