**About the Role:

As a History Teacher, you'll have the unique opportunity to bring history to life for our students. **Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver dynamic lessons that make historical events and figures relatable and exciting for students.
  • Foster a love for history by encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and exploration of diverse historical perspectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to develop their analytical skills, confidence, and academic success.
  • Work closely with other educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrate history with other subjects.
  • Regularly assess student progress through assignments, exams, and class participation, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for improvement.
  • Stay updated on current educational practices and historical research, incorporating new ideas and methods into your teaching.

**Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree in History or a related field is required. A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience teaching history, either in a classroom or as part of a training program, is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
