PRINCIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER - BUILDING SERVICES
PLYMOUTH, DEVON
£55,000 + BONUS + HYBRID + BENEFITS
Due to continued success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled team with the addition of an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience in the Building Services/HVAC arena.
We are looking for an ambitious person, with good experience in delivering projects in the Building services sector, you will typically be working with clients in the following industries; Defence, Healthcare and Education. THE ROLE:
- Leading Design projects, in areas such as Healthcare and Defence.
- Accountability for Building services and HVAC design projects, strong understanding of HVAC principles required.
- Managing the project team, ensuring everyone stays on task and motivated, typically 2 or 3 individuals on each project.
- Managing multiple projects at once - 2 or 3 usually.
- Using Revit to produce high quality drawings, which meet client specifications.
- Represent the company when meeting with clients to discuss design projects and providing progress reports.
- Provide support, where required to a newly formed office in Cornwall.
THE PERSON:
- Experience is Building Services / HVAC design is essential - Mechanical Bias.
- Experience using Revit or Similar
- IT literate
- Experienced in representing company at Design meetings with clients.
- Good financial and commercial understanding of working within a consulting practice.
