The Client
Our client manufactures a full range of Plastic and Steel Strapping equipment from Hand Tools to specifically designed Automated Strapping Systems for all types of Industries. They also manufacture a full range of Stretch Wrap Machinery used for securing products in the transportation process. They are now in need of an experience territory sales manager to help manage the South East region.
The Role
Based within the territory, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions and a high-class service to all customers in the region. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and build a pipeline of sustainable business and working relationships
- Plan sales activities and customer/prospect visits profitably within the business framework
- Perform product demonstrations using technical knowledge and experience
- Delivery of CPD Presentations
- Cross sell the full range of company products when appropriate.
- Liaise closely with internal sales and colleagues in other departments.
- Seek out, understand and report to the management team any industry trends and movements.
- Ensure CRM and Pipeline management tools are used and updated.
The Person
- Experience working in a territory sales role selling similar products
- Experience of performing technical product demos
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate
- Results driven
- Dynamic/Innovate
- Strong negotiator
- Ability to think logically and apply a methodical approach to organising information
- Comfortable working on their own and as part of a team
- Self motivated
