The difference you will make as a Building Control Officer

You will act as the nominated Building Control Officer for all projects within scope that fall under the new building safety regulator. Gatekeep and manage all works considered category A works, ensuring Riverside Group comply with new building control requirements.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of successfully undertaking the role of Building Safety /Building Control Officer, Project Manager within a similar organisation.
  • Working knowledge of the building control and planning process.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders, understanding program and project requirements, assessing against building safety act requirement.
  • Excellent team player who can work flexibly to meet business requirements. Self-motivated and organised with the ability to plan & prioritise work against deadlines.
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Office and Outlook.
  • Evidence of accurately reviewing, collating, and recording a variety of data for meaningful analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, deliver to strict deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
