Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, SK2 7JE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm
Trust Location: Stockport NHS Foundation Trust
Duration: Temporary role for 6 weeks with possibility of extension
What you'll be responsible for:
- Manning a busy reception desk and general clinic management
- Booking appointments and updating the Patient Centre and CLIO system
- Scanning duties
- Taking telephone calls and dealing with queries quickly and efficiently
- Outcoming of clinic appointments and dealing with people face to face
You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You'll have the following skills/experience:
- Evidence of a receptionist background
- Polite and courteous telephone manner
- Strong IT skills
- NHS experience is highly desirable
- Patient centre and CLIO system experience is highly desirable
