We are recruiting for a well-established local company based in the Maylands Industrial are in Hemel Hempstead, renowned and respected in their industry across the nation. We are supporting them in recruiting for a Customer Service Co-ordinator.

As part of this role you will be working closely alongside their busy sales team. You will be responsible for managing customer contact, ensuring all customer orders and queries are dealt with.

We are looking for candidates with strong customer service skills, whether that be in a retail/hospitality environment or within an office-based role. Please note training will be on-site in Hemel however you will also be required to travel to their other office in another location for a few days as part of the training process (travel costs will be covered for this).

This position will be working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm, fully based in the offices in Hemel Hempstead, there is free onsite parking available as well as company benefits too. The salary for this role is paying up to £24,000 depending on candidate experience.

Duties to include:

  • Ensure all phone calls are answered.
  • Process all customer orders and enquiries.
  • Identify and developing sales opportunities.
  • Uncover current market information on incoming calls.
  • Provide a high level of support to the Sales Team.
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers.
  • Develop a rapport with external customers.
  • Manage the supply of stock to specific projects.
  • Follow up quotes and leads you have generated.
