Avocet Legal Careers is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to join our client's office based in Poole.
This position would suit a qualified Solicitor or a qualified Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' PQE. This is a great opportunity to join a large, highly reputable firm with multiple offices across Somerset & Dorset. There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to progress to Associate or Salaried Partner level. You will be one of the key Lawyers in the team and should be able to run a full caseload from instruction to post-completion.
Commercial Property Lawyer responsibilities:
- You will run your own full caseload of Commercial Property matters independently
- You will be able to run a full caseload from instruction to post-completion
- You will be responsible for undertaking business development and marketing opportunities
- You will be responsible for managing junior members of the team
- Consistently achieve/exceed billing targets
Commercial Property Lawyer requirements:
- You will be a qualified Solicitor or a qualified Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE gained within Commercial and/or Agricultural Property law
- You will ideally have some Agricultural Property experience (but this is not essential)
- You will be able to manage a team of junior members of staff or you will have the desire to do so
- You will be very client focused and enjoy building client relationships
- Ideally, you will have connections locally and know the local area well
- You will have some business development and marketing skills/experience
- You will have a driving licence and access to a vehicle, as commuting between offices may be required
