Here you would be working with a respected independent Insurance Brokerage in Glasgow City Centre, to deliver an efficient and high-quality claims handling service to their clients.

They have developed their own unique range of quality insurance products, which has given the business a competitive edge in several areas.

Being in control of the entire process, from enquiry to policy issue, has allowed this business to deliver service levels to unimaginable levels in this sector, or indeed for a business of its physical size.

The role involves proactively administering and negotiating claims settlements, maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurers, and providing technical advice on policy coverage.

You will need some sort of Commercial claims handling experience for this one, a large proportion of claims will be Property related.

What will you be doing?

  • Administer and negotiate claims settlements on behalf of clients effectively and proactively
  • Handle complaints and service issues, ensuring compliance with regular file checks
  • Promptly address telephone enquiries and correspondence, referring queries outside of own knowledge and experience to the appropriate person
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and insurers on claims procedures, queries, and technical liability issues
  • Coordinate the appointment of nominated Loss adjusters & solicitors on behalf of the client
  • Develop and maintain good relations with partner insurers & suppliers
  • Provide accurate technical advice on policy coverage and explain the claims process depending on the insurer involved
  • Maintain a diary system to ensure that outstanding claims are regularly reviewed and settled

About you:

  • Experience handling Commercial or Corporate insurance claims
  • Maybe you have Commercial Motor/Fleet or Property claims experience for example
  • Keen to learn new areas of claims and products on offer
