SEN Teaching Assistant - Needs to be Epilepsy and Catheterisation Trained

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-on-one support for a child with specific medical needs. This long-term position will continue until the child leaves school, offering stability and the chance to build a meaningful connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support and care to a child with SEN, including catheterisation and epilepsy management.
- Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child's inclusion and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers and healthcare professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and record the child's progress, communicating effectively with parents and staff.
- Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and training in catheterisation and epilepsy care.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs.
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to the child's long-term development and well-being.
