A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Somerset Area!

With no day ever being the same the Parts Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Design processes and tooling to produce parts
  • Assist with Contract Reviews and Quote procedures
  • Lead and project manage part validation process
  • Lead improvement initiatives
  • Preparation of technical projects
  • Reduce non value added waste and part costs
  • Collaborate with customer design departments

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 8D, FMEA, FAIR, Rapid prototyping SLA, SLS experience
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAE.
  • HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAE
  • Good working knowledge of simulation modelling software
