A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Engineer to join a UK known manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Parts Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design processes and tooling to produce parts
- Assist with Contract Reviews and Quote procedures
- Lead and project manage part validation process
- Lead improvement initiatives
- Preparation of technical projects
- Reduce non value added waste and part costs
- Collaborate with customer design departments
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 8D, FMEA, FAIR, Rapid prototyping SLA, SLS experience
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAE.
- HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAE
- Good working knowledge of simulation modelling software
