Our client is looking for a Senior Data Architect within the Personalised Experiences and Communications Platform. Leverage your engineering expertise and embrace cloud opportunities to deliver top-tier data capabilities.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Design & Implementation: Lead scalable, robust cloud-native data architectures.
  • Data Modelling: Develop and maintain comprehensive data models (conceptual, logical, physical).
  • Real-Time Data Solutions: Design and optimise solutions ensuring high availability, low latency, and efficient processing.
  • Data Mesh Architecture: Implement and promote decentralised data ownership and domain-oriented data products.
  • Collaboration: Work with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to align data architecture with business goals.
  • Standards & Practices: Establish and enforce data architecture guidelines and best practices.
  • Tools & Technologies: Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies.
  • Integration & Interoperability: Oversee data integration across various sources and systems.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance across platforms.
  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior architects and engineers.
  • Emerging Trends: Stay updated on data architecture, modelling, real-time processing, and security trends.
  • GCP Utilisation: Utilise Google Cloud Platform services to build and manage data architectures.

Tech Skills:

  • Extensive experience in data architecture, modelling, and real-time streaming.
  • Candidates must be proficient in data modelling techniques and tools, SQL, NoSQL databases, and data security practices.
  • Strong understanding of data mesh principles, compliance requirements, and emerging tech trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Solid project management skills, and the ability to run multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Any Relevant certifications in data architecture are advantageous.
