Logistics Account Manager

Join the dynamic team at our client's organisation as a Logistics Account Manager! We are looking for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused, and adept at managing multiple accounts. Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of individual customer accounts, managing their day-to-day operations and planning.
  • Monitor and provide up-to-date SLA/KPI reports, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with your CRM and warehouse team leaders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Invoice accurately and on time, taking into account all relevant charges.
  • Engage in proactive communication with customers, promptly addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Attend internal and client meetings to offer your valuable insights and build strong relationships.
  • Take the lead in identifying and resolving rework tasks, prioritising them effectively.
  • Maintain a high level of health and safety awareness, escalating any concerns to the appropriate team.

Requirements:

  • Motivated and well-organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable and process-driven, capable of handling multiple accounts.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and find solutions to challenges.
  • Availability to work weekends for occasional stock takes, up to 4-5 times per year.
  • Articulate, numerate, and confident in presenting information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Logistics Management Systems.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Logistics or similar industry.
