Software Engineer - C#, .NET, React, Angular, SQL, T-SQL, API, Power BI, SSRS, ETL
Our top tier internationa law firm client are currently looking for a new Software Engineer (C#, .NET, React, Angular, SQL, T-SQL, API, Power BI, SSRS, ETL) to join their team for 12 months on a contractual basis. They boast 1000+ users worldwide and are well known for investing heavily into top tier technology and class leading projects.
This Software Engineer (C#, .NET, React, Angular, SQL, T-SQL, API, Power BI, SSRS, ETL) will be responsible for develop on the firms integrated solutions and provide technical 3rd line support and refinement to a nubmer of key systems. This will include integrations, data loading, transformating, reporting & Workflow/BPM.
To be considered for this Software Engineer (C#, .NET, React, Angular, SQL, T-SQL, API, Power BI, SSRS, ETL) It's ideal you have:
- 2-3 + years within software development
- Ideal but not required law firm or professional service experience
- Key technical skills:
- Integration Development experience
- SQL, T-SQL
- API, web service & XML/JSON
- C# or .NET core, React/Angular
- ETL & Data Loading
Responsibilities:
- This important role within the Business Systems Team will be a technical specialist for the Firm's continuous improvement and support of IntApp (Open, Flow, Time & Integrate). This suite of products and associated integrated solutions and workflows are key to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of managing our new business intake, conflicts, and business optimisation processes. They consist of development and customization of management systems, web applications & reporting software.
- Day to day duties will involve developing, integrating, releasing, testing and implementing software solutions while ensuring they are user-friendly, reliable and importantly meet the requirements of the firm. Key to this initiative is breaking down user stories into technical implementation tasks optimizing the process by understanding the benefits that the system can provide and always keeping in mind the UX of the final product.
- The role will also be a technical expert for integration services. The successful candidate must have the ability to demonstrate experience designing and developing REST API's / SOAP / SFTP ideally utilizing IntApp integrate for executing these calls.
- The role will involve developing and maintaining a suite of internal web applications used by the firm written using C# / .Net Framework, Sql Server and Web Services. The role will be responsible for implementing web applications using modern patterns for data access (REST / WebAPI / SQL Server) as well as modern front-end frameworks (Angular / React).
- As the function grows and more systems are handed over to the team to enhance, we will be looking to provide greater automation to the business to provide efficiency gains across multiple touch points. As such, the role will be a technical advisor/implementer of systems integration.
